Street Drinking

Good Morning,

        Clarendon Park Gardens has been brought to our attention as an increasingly frequented spot for street drinking despite the short lull after the closure of the Public Conveniences. We have received local intelligence that may be a contributing factor to this. We will be looking to step-up patrols in the area to deter the issue before it is allowed to take root and become a more stubborn issue.

We understand that the area is somewhat of a haven to the community as the volunteering projects that take place there to uplift the area mean a great deal. Our intentions going forward are to explore further into the local intelligence and to be a physical presence in the area -this includes stop-checking anyone found in the area after dark who may be partaking in ASB.

We shall keep you updated, but by all means we welcome any further information and intelligence that may help in our efforts to dissuade further issues.
